Just to rest everyone's poor innocent minds, the offensive homophone in this case is ho without the e (although sometimes with an apostrophe), which is not currently filtered, whereas the harmless gardening tool (or activity depending on usage) has been unfairly demonised, likely due to a misunderstanding.
