As bethie said, rice is supposed to work. Put the ipod in a bag of rice, as rice absorbs water.

Yeah I spose...I just use my iPod for like everything...emails, habboxforum at 2am...ect. plus I was going to put all my songs on it for the 11 hour journey I have for my Christmas holiday -.-

Hopefully you'll be lucky with it; if not I suggest you just tell your dad rather than mess around with it further. As someone said above, normally owning up quickly is the best thing because if you don't parents will be able to tell you off further for not owning up x)
