firstly, that newsreader is either very dopey or very patronising

but the tree looks nice but to say it has £11 milllion worth of gems on it, it doesn't look that much different to any other

I agree that it's not worth the money at all, especially since there's a rope around the edge... and that the diamonds at the top won't even be seen.
That being said, they've done it simply for advertising. It will be on news channels all over the world and even by you posting this thread; they've achieved their goal

i agree that its just a marketing stunt & you can't really see the gems that well & yep i did what they wanted me to do by showing it off
