Xbox
Ps3
PS3 is proven to have a higher capacity for graphics - look at Uncharted 2 - but often PS3 users get lumbered with sub-par ports, like Red Dead Redemption.
Apparently Black ops on the PS3 has terrible issues. That is of course if you were planning to play it.

I've been happily playing my review copy since launch, but duly noted in my write-up that the graphics were lacking in comparison to Modern Warfare 2's.
The xbox isn't even HD if you buy a standard version. And both have the same in full HD, with similar games.
Plus, you can't say they're better games on the xbox. For example Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3 is amazing.
I stand by the fact, they're the same. People vote for the one they have, that is it.
One for the road.
November marks the sixth consecutive month Xbox 360 leads video game consoles in sales, with 1.37 million units sold. (Source: NPD Group, November 2010)Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox battle it out for the gaming crown. Sales of the Sony PlayStation 3 console has outstripped the sales of Microsoft's Xbox 360 by 28% in the financial year ending on June 30 2010.
According to figures, 10.3 million Xbox 360 consoles were sold in comparison to 14.3 million PS3 consoles in the same time frame. This is a shift from the previous year, when Xbox 360 was selling more than the PS3. The reason for this reversal seems to be the price reduction of the Sony PS3 consoles as well as its PS3 Slim version.
Xbox 360 is the only console to show double digit year-to-date growth at 42%, making it the fastest-growing console in 2010. (Source: NPD Group, November 2010)
50% of spending at retail this November (for current generation consoles) was on the Xbox 360 platform.
But of course, sales stats mean nothing when telling someone which one to get
When you say proven, give proof.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._Among_Thieves (all the graphics ones specifically) Gears 2, which (as far as im aware) is considered to have best 360 graphics, doesnt match that amount
in the end it is down to opinion, but the general opinion is ps3>360 in exclusives graphics but 360>ps3 in multiplats.

They both look bad.
a game whats been say.. 6 years in the making will obviously have better graphics than say a game 2 years in the making.
I have both and I play my 360 a lot more. I think right now the 360 has better exclusives, but the ps3 is catching up. If the ps3 got the 360's party system then I would probably play the ps3 more, since I like to talk to my friends when playing games, even if I'm not playing with them.
