Sky + to Sky HD

Well downstairs we have Sky HD + and upstairs in my room i have Sky +, I was wondering if i baught a sky hd box would it work to replace the sky + box, OR would i have to consult sky and get another sky hd box fitted by them?

i think you could just buy the box to be honest, as long as the same cables are there and its linked to the same dish as the hd one.

You'd have to call them. HD boxes use different cards.

We had to call Sky when we wanted HD upstairs, so I presume you'd have to do the same.

You just have to contact them and ask for a HD viewing card.

They do. It depends if a line is already connected though.
