Well if we hit 15 and you have 1.5GB RAM allocated to it (guessing you it stayed under 1.5GB) the server with 4GB will be able to hold something like 50 since you get more and more shared libraries, the more you scale up with this sort of thing. Unless Minecraft works completely different with memory allocation to every other application I've run on my servers :S.

We could probably push it up to at least 25 players with 1.5GB, but on this VPS I wouldn't wanna risk it, but yeah, you're right we should be able to get at least a 50 player limit.

Just because we can, doesn't mean we should. We've already had griefing incidents with a low amount of people, it'll be crazy with even more. Should be set at 25.

tbh I think right now it's just tweaking what items people can/can't use and just about being careful who we let on.

I really think admins shouldnt be using /give AT ALL. Like unless theres a competition or something. as much as i loved getting a few pieces for helping stuto, i think it defeats the purpose slightly

I quite agree, although I was under the impression that the loot from stabbing Dan was his own stuff anyway as he'd been mining diamonds since before most of us even went on the server. Still, using /give definitely takes away from the point of having a server where we work for what we make

Used that cos I cba to go underground when I was tracking the tunnel above ground, also most of the competition items where my personal items anyway and i've had an empty inventory since then.

For some reason Creepers only follow me! I walked past the exit of train station, and he chased me, and then wouldn't follow anyone else and exploded on my attempt at an exit!
