Making sure you have a pile of feathers. If you're holding a feather whilst landing then you won't die. A bit like if a plane runs out of fuel it will crash and burn, but if it still has fuel it can land safely.

If you land a plane on jelly it could still be safe also why is minecraft deciding to eat up half my cpu it usually behaves fine
