They are talking about money so its not stuff from the catalogue its how many credits they've sold and I'm not surprised they are making more money after they put the prices up, sorry but from where I'm sat it's a no brainer.

They put the prices up knowing addicts would just pay more to "get more" and everybody fell for it hook line and sinker. Excellent business Sulake, shame it's kids you're ripping off.

    to add to that

s Habbo is free-to-play, most players do not spend money in the service. Those who do, use it primarily in order to create custom content, spaces and activities for their friends and other players. In exchange, they gather fame, respect

All in pursuit of money now, it's not right or how it used to be.

It's just horrible to pick on kids who probably haven't been very popular in real life and offer "fame & respect" in exchange for them to spend money.

Completely agree, Sulake have gone from providing an alternative method of having fun to exploiting kids to line their own pockets.

As normal, people seem to forget that Sulake didn't just wake up one morning and think 'HEY LETS EXPLOIT KIDS AND STEAL THEIR PARENTS MONEY'. It has ALWAYS been their aim. So, why don't people stop thinking as if it is anything new, and get on with it. As I can tell you, if I ran Sulake I would aim to get every single last penny out of as many kids as possible.

Look at Jagex. Not sure if it is still the same, but if you bought their membership via SMS (which for many people, is their only option) you had to pay 6 POUNDS. With habbo, you can get membership for about £1.50 - oh what money stealing, thieving gits.

Infact if I was Sulake, I would make VIP a money paying extra (you can only get it by buying it, no in game credits to buy it for you. Or allow people to buy it on the hotel, but charge extortionate credit prices. And don't get me starting on really exclusive 100 credit rares.

I'm not surprised, there has been a real push for sales this year.

Sure, it was their purpose all along; but they did once care about their users.

6 pounds for the amount of stuff you get with membership in Runescape is very well worth it, unlike habbo. Jagex at least listen to what there community says (free trade for example).
Bonjour, la noirceur, mon vieil ami
    Je suis venu te reparler
    Car une vision piétinante doucement
A laissé ses graines lorsque je dormais
    Et la vision
Qui était plantée dans mon cerveau
    Demeure toujours
    Parmi le son du silence

Sulake has always been a business looking to make money yes however old business tactics were to help Habbos enjoy the experience so that they would want to pay for things, now they make them pay before they can even enjoy it as much as they don't do half the community stuff.

Sulake were interested in members until they released the Habbo Exchange, this was very good for members - not good for sulake, they realised it and had to change their whole plan. It would have been more simple to get rid of the exchange.
