What an utter joke surely the artists up for things should be ones who've actually done something in the past year, there is literally no-one good in any of the actual British categories there.

International female is the only decent category, guessing Katy Perry will win it though because she's done the most recently of that lot.
Int male will be Kanye as Eminem's comeback was awful and the others have hardly done anything.
Int breakthrough is just between Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber - like him or not he's done an amazing job commercially.
Int group is between BEP and Kings of Leon, I'm hoping BEP get it because 1) they're actually good and 2) they've got more than 2 famous songs. The others in this category I can't see having any chance.
Int album should really be Katy Perry but can see Eminem (for his overall popularity - it's a crap album) and Kings of Leon giving her some competition there.

Thank god someone else in the world realises however much people seem to hate Justin Bieber, he has done incredible things for a music artist in such a short time.

no, it isn't like that lol
mumford's album came out in october of 2009, and im not sure the exact time window for release dates that the brits allow for albums and singles to be eligible for nomination, but i know the grammy's eligibility year starts in september. e.g. lady gaga's the fame monster is nominated for album of the year at the grammys 2011, and it was released in november 2009. however, the xx's album was released in august 2009 so i'm not sure how that works... probably just an attempt to try and make the brits 'credible'.

and journey are american aren't they?

But wouldn't that mean they should have been done for the 2010 show? especially since it actually reached number one??
Oops, actually read your post - SORRY

I think they'll try to go down a more 'alternative' route this time and give Arcade Fire int. album (here's hoping)

Go Gorillaz and Florence + The Machine. Don't really care about anything else, although if Scouting for Girls win anything I might turn suicidal.

For best international group I hope The Temper Trap wins. Have to say they where one of my favourite bands of the year, a nice unique sound and I can listen to all of their songs. For International Group it would have to be Vampire Weekend or Arcade Fire. Mumford & Sons and Ellie Goulding are okay to
