I wish they would bring back some form of moderation with something like a legal clause (if thats what its called) whereby you formally agree that you will read every report you receive thoroughly and perform in an unbiased way otherwise you will be removed.

hundreds of people will apply and i bet hundreds of people will perform in a professional manner due to the overwhelming fact that the current moderation is overwhelmed with reports.

I think that is a rather naive comment. any chat room where dangerous adults can potentially harm children through getting them to meet up with them physically or grooming them online is a very real danger.

From my experience, when I have reported the habbo in question seems to have been banned a good 2/3rds of the time. However it does make me angry that out of these reports it is almost always he hc/vip habbo that seems to get away with it more often....coincidence?

    Habbo like their moolah.

When you report, you might aswell include that if you go on this retro site you could die, therefore they need to act quickly to save lives.

I think it's pathetic and the moderation is very poor. It has been like this since Hobbas were axed and if they don't do anything about their moderation service, people are just going to leave. I like the satisfaction of when I report somebody, something is actually done about it.

It's not that much of a danger where the moderators only exist to groom the site for potential paedophiles. The service should be about providing an actual service to the whole Habbo community. Fearing for a teenager's well-being, that is, safe from paedophiles, shouldn't be the #1 priority for every day when there isn't a high chance of a hourly paedophile attack. Although the danger is very real, users who do have common sense should also be protected from theft, and be provided a service where they know non-sexual attacks are also protected against - their furniture, what they actually buy so that Habbo keeps going, bullying and so forth. If Habbo only care about paedophiles then they should probably close down, it's ruining the experience for a majority of their customers.

Fair point, but how many reports that come in are for this sort of thing? Very few

^ Exactly. Although there should always be concern, wasting resources to tackle a tiny problem is having an affect on all of Habbo.

For me, i set up a scam room aimed at a scammer, who still owes me 20c ... , it was removed within a few minutes.

    Fair much?

I'm not bothered about the scam room I'm bothered about the ****** moderating. The excuses people came back are completely unacceptable - how can they expect people to follow the habbo way if they're not enforcing it! And also, just to say that Habbo needs to hire more moderators if they cannot handle the amount of calls without ignoring them. It's a business and it needs to operate effectiveley.
