Default Terrible moderators! -Redtiz please read-

    Hey,

I have a massive complaint about the moderators. Now, nearly everyone on habbo will sympathise with me here. The Moderators are frankly useless. It's like they're only trained to send out prewritten messages telling you to put people you don't like on ignore. It really annoys me because today someone was advertising a retro, being the good citizen I am I reported them only to receive the reply.

''Please use the ignore button to filter out chat you would rather not see!''

This made me really annoyed, this person was still flooding the room advertising a habbo retro with links, so I reported him again.

I received a reply ''Thanks, we are investigating this report now'' Finally, we're getting somewhere I thought. Then about 1 minute later I recieved the reply ''You're problem has been dealt with, please remember to use the ignore button to filter out chat you would rather see'

This person WAS STILL advertising a retro so for a final time I decided to try and report them again perhaps this time getting a moderator who might do somtehing. but no, I got the same reply as first time so i thought well if habbo arn't going to deal with it, then how can they complain about retros.

Then I realised someone had made me a scam room, I don't know why as I never scam so I decide to report it. Again I get the reply telling me to use the ignore button. so I reported it again and wrote 'please dont tell me to use the ignore button as this will clearly not solve my problem'' yet i get the same reply and I still have the scam room.

Now, I can name many other times when this has happened, for example when people were being sexually explicit, scamming etc. Now I'm not usually a grass but if I don't like someone I'll report them.

Now I want to know why moderators are allowed to give such appaling 'moderation' if it can even be called that. People with genuine reasons to be banned are getting away and people with no genuine reasons are being banned. Clearly this can't stay the same as I know it is not only damaging Habbo and Sulakes reputation but it is also causing many users to stop playing. Habbo really doesn't care about the players anymore and its all about money money money. Before anyone says that it's a business and its main aim is to make money, well yes, but businesses have to care about the service they give and shouldn't get away with such appaling standards!

I hope Redtiz reads this and gives lets us know if anything will be happening as I know that most of you will agree with me when I say that this really is getting out of hand.

Redtiz had posted a reply similar to what I am about to say, I carnt remember it exactly sorry. She said:

Moderators receive thousands of reports aday and start by dealing with the ones what could put sones life in danger, I'll try to find the post now.

But yes I totally agree with you they dont do anything, infact once someone was flooding, "Give me your pass and I'll give you free furni" I reported, I got the same reply as you, so I started to flood "usersname is scamming! Dont listen to him" 2 mins later I got banned! for flooding!!!

    It's just appalling.

Yes, and what Redtiz said, I'm sorry but even so it's not acceptable. If they do that they are contradicting themselves. If they can't handle the amount of reports nesecary then it's their responsibility to hire more mods. I think they justr try to weasel themself out the problem they need to accept it and say right how can we fix it.

I agree with you that it's bad, but Redtiz has a point. If it threatens someones life then it's more important than kids losing a bit of pixel furni.

HOWEVER - it is still unacceptable that they give automated responses for a scam site. I hate it when it happens. And yes it is unacceptable. But as Redtiz said - they do have THOUSANDS a day, say they work 8 hours - that could be 500+ an hour, that's roughly 1 every 6 seconds. It's easier just to click a button with an automated response than to type a whole thing out isn't it? Most people in that situation would do it.

I'm pretty sure that the "Please use ignore button to filter chat" is an automated reply that you get when the moderator is dealing/dealt with the call that they have no control over, for example when I've reported someone, sometimes I'll receive the auto message "please use ignore button blahblah" then when I click okay there's another message saying "we are looking into this" or something along those lines.

No-one's life is in danger for using Habbo Hotel - a poor excuse. People are paying for a service and they're not getting it, which makes for poor business credentials.

The thing is they had enough time to talk to me on the call for help for around 5-10 minutes on a issue with instant replies.. mm

If you have a scam room, go to the homepage of the users name and if they have their room widget available then report it. That's how, and the only way you will get a room removed, unless there isn't a widget therefore you to go Customer Support.

I haven't been having many problems with the Call For Help. The automated messages are generally telling you that they are looking at your report, not just throwing out an automated message because they cba.

I myself think that it is anautomated message as they can't be available 24/7. HOWEVER on some occasions I do not think they bother looking based on the fact they send out the message 'the ignore button is theree to filter out change you do not want to see' how is it then they ONLY tend to moderate when the report is something sexual. I said something the otherr day and someone repoirted me for it it came up with 'the conversation you are using is not appropriate for habbo please stop or something like that' if it was something like racism im sure they would send the ignore them message.
On the other hand, Redtiz did say that habbo are wanting to cut down on people going on webcam and such which i think is acceptable but surely things like racismshould be important too.

Moreover, I myself think it's fine when they send the automated message for a scam as it isn't that important - if it's important to you then by all means usecustomer supportbut it isn't the mmost dangerous of things.

I think the moderators are ok sometimes, hiwever I think they either skim read/have a computer that reads what the helpcall says they pick up a key word like 'badge' 'scam' or something sexual and they send the message appropriate towards it.
