How so? They should have no need to +rep or -rep other people since they should be listening to other peoples opinions fairly and without bias.

It's for that very reason which calls for general management to have an abundance of reputation in my opinion. They typically use it a lot more sparingly, but when they do it's to encourage and promote those who are making constructive threads, suggestions and to promote discussions.

A while back it was changed so administrators could have the rep power they have earned as for most of us this was higher than 15 anyway, I believe Jin changed it to 50 a few days ago to test something so I'm sure he will change it back when he has finished

Well, I will suggest; let them have whatever rep they actually have - and if you want it to look nice, round it up to the nearest 5. (14 will be 15)

We are members of this forum too. I am entitled to +rep posts I find helpful and I am entitled to -rep posts that I find disrespectful/rude.

As it appears to only be a temporary thing, I'm not really that bothered but I'm not a fan of general management (except maybe Jin and Sierk cos its true, they do pay for the site!) having their rep power increased - or decreased by the sounds of it! - as they should earn their rep like everyone else

Totally agree.

I hate to say this again, but am I right in saying massive changes were made last year to make new members feel equal - so 50 rep for management is sort of going against the concept :L

But it is temporary so oh well
