You think all gays talk like pansies? There's a big difference between being gay and being camp. Not every gay person is like "OMG AM A QUEER LOOK AT ME *BENDS HAND AND SQUEELS*, contrary to popular belief
No but his character is too mixed between a "gangster" and a gay. I'm not stereotyping gays but he just doesn't seem right. He doesn't come across as gay. I want to see him more before making a full judgement but the way his lines are delivered, what little he has done so far has told me two different things. Before reading his profile on the site and seeing the preview of next week I really didn't think he was gay.
And plus I wasn;t saying he was weird BECAUSE he's gay. I was just adding that he is gay...

That's true but I think they should've portrayed him more of a bit..different. Like Josh, you could tell he was never comfortable with having a girlfriend and so could see it coming when he went for Finn etc. I didn't suspect anything with Nate at all...I don't like the way the story has gone with him but then it's only been 1 episode so I'll be patient and see how it goes.

gays are people too, there are no rules to follow. just because a man is straight doesn't mean he has to play football and be all macho, just because a woman is a lesbian doesn't mean she has to have short hair and a nose piercing. you are stereotyping.
you can be my daddy
They could have made his character abide by more of what's considered gay stereotypes you mean. Naturally I think it's wrong to stereotype anyone and I think mostly all the negative stint people have towards the gay come from that small handful of "camp" gay men which fuels the stereotype although in film they commonly abide by stereotypes - take how many blondes are portrayed in television, or that I've never seen a non old white man in Law & Order as a main Lawyer. You've just gotta' take it in a good light in my opinion. That's true but I think they should've portrayed him more of a bit..different. I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
I'm not saying he has to be completely camp, but it just bugs me the way they've portrayed him. I'm not saying at all that he should be camp, or act completely gay, but it's a TV show, stereotypes are often the norm anyway, and they could, and probably SHOULD make it more obvious in some way, like I said - Josh isn't a camp character but I could tell he's gay because he wasn't comfortable with a girlfriend.
PLUS rushing into a relationship in episode 2 is too fast for me. If they're going to get a new character into a relationship they should build up the character first, so we know why they're like that etc.

Not necessarily. Just make it more obvious in some way, or let the character build up before getting him into a relationship. They could have made his character abide by more of what's considered gay stereotypes you mean.
