I'll be going in a morphsuit hopefully.

He might have done it all of the top of his head which would make it even more awesome. But yes apart from him then oda. Speaking of which ive decided to pick up more Monster manga.

Haha so good to be able to just use a legal ID. ;D

Fitting music for the spoiler from 1:00 onwards not a spoiler tho.

And even more amazin i put money on the Scotland game and ive won £70+ so be buying myself said record breaking volume and possibly some other manga i want.

Was a tv documentary thing on in japan about one piece sucess etc see oda's office, people in japan buying volume 61, some random stuff and an interview with someone.

i like at 12:30 when they talk about samurai and one piece. and the song plays with the bit from Enies lobby. that would have been a nice song at the part in the anime D:

Now, now... there are a lot of other hard working mangaka out there other than Urasawa and Oda who all put a lot of effort into planning.

Speaking of Monster... I should really pick up the anime again. Stalled at episode 17 like a year or two ago and just left it. Might buy the manga instead since all of the volumes have been published.

Also, just watched Memories. The 'Magnetic Rose' segment was a frickin' masterpiece. That pretty much confirms it... everything Satoshi Kon was involved in is brilliant. Really reminded me of Cowboy Bebop as well. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Watanabe's inspiration.

Should really watch the anime of Monster. The music fits amazingly with the mood and honestly dont think itd be as good in the manga. Obviously i havent read it, but the music and such really made it for me.

I swear when you finished Monster you said it was alright but nothing special. Knowing me I would probably enjoy the manga more seeing as how it was done by Naoki Urasawa a.k.a. the God of manga for the new generation. From what I did watch the anime was really good though, the music was very fitting and atmospheric. Gotta love Doctor Tenma as well. I wonder what happened to those rumours of a live action Monster movie...

Nice to see you've matured. Apparently it's Madhouse's best show behind Hajime no Ippo and Death Note. Speaking of Madhouse... anyone seen Beck?

Manga are hardly going to license it if it failed in America. Your bias towards everyone but Manga is really a cause for concern!

    Speaking of Manga...

"Manga Entertainment's British arm revealed on its Twitter account on Wednesday that the Los Angeles-based Weinstein Company has acquired a 25% minority stake in Starz Media, the parent company of Manga Entertainment and Anchor Bay. According to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, the deal also includes a five-year distribution deal under which Starz Media will handle DVD and digital distribution for the film company."

Wonder how distribution is going to be affected over here...
