Did you do this in a room? If so, stupid mistake anyway to be fair. No matter if you trade someone or not, I would never trade with anyone on habbo (forums on the other hand..) - even then I don't touch anyone unless they are well respected.

I did it in front of 20 or so people, which I suppose is the only good thing because at least there were wtnesses who removed him from the safe list etc.

He was a trusted middleman on habbo ^
I'd used him many times before and seen him complete many trades.
Anyways, I ran into him later and he said he scammed me because it was his last 50M and was finished trading :/

PM me the name, quite interested in who this might be.

I'm afraid anyone willing to scam Habbo furniture must be a real saddo in real life, I learned along time a go that friends are worth way more than furniture. It's just a tempting thing to do if you play Runescape and you're going to make easy money, personally if I was going to trade Habbo > RS i'd only trade as high at 1t at a time.

The thing is, many people who scam are simply doing it for real life cash.

It is the same as scamming in real life cash - after all that guy could now go and sell those t's for a good £30-£50

Back in the day, I sold a lot of Habbo for ££££. Unfortunately one time I was offered £40 for like 25 majestics and accepted the deal. The person had fan rooms from a lot of people I trust so I trusted the person. Gave him the majestics. I never saw him again. Scammed majestics (they were worth a lot back in the day).

Ever since, I have only ever gone second, except with Mexel, with whom I have done like £250 worth of deals. He is safe!

You broke habbo's rules, so it's not the same as my situation.
Admittedly I broke runescape rules bla bla, but trading between two games as a way of increasing the fun I have within one of the games is different to selling stuff in a game for real life money, because the majority of people who do that will go to extreme lengths to obtain the furni in the first place, hacking, scamming etc.

It is still trading Habbo furni for something else ...
I did not hack or scam to get my furni. I played for several years, got bored and sold my furni. If I can make money out of it, then why not. I can argue that selling for money was a way of increasing fun for me, as it meant I invested it on several websites, making me thousands of pounds in a year. And the websites were something I enjoyed so it was a way of increasing fun.
