    Yep. I seem to get 500 errors (and also database errors) the few hours after school which is early morning for all your UKers.

    I've got one a few minutes ago just by viewing a thread on the forum. (a 500 error)
    I don't like to blow my own trumpet, but I did actually blow my own trumpet..

    It has been pretty slow for me in the last few minutes although usually I am not on a this time.

    I suspect I know the cause of the early morning (GMT) errors but currently struggling to find a work around, it's related to our intensive process of backing up.

    Looks like the front end server is now nginx.

    Is the php backend apache or php-fpm/php_cgi ?
