Apple's stock just halved... probably. Edit: It has gone down a lot, I wouldn't be surprised if it dropped a lot more when the market opens again.

Don't believe this until it gets confirmed by a *reliable* source. The Enquirer are always posting fake photos of dead and dying celebrities. THey published the Steve Irwin photos - all of which were fake. The fact that he didn't look anywhere near that bad from behind at the Masters of Social Media dinner with Obama the other day indicates that those pics are all rubbish.

This is a disgusting story to put out, if they can't get it confirmed I hope they get some hefty action against them for it. They can report that they think they've seen him outside a cancer unit if they really have to but suggesting that they somehow know he only has weeks left is terrible no matter how bad he may or may not look. I've seen pictures of David Beckham in African slums that doesn't mean he's about to starve

Seems pointless if there are no confirmed stories about this. As FlyingJesus said, it's quite sick to put this out with no confirmation. It's amazing they ahven't started building his coffin, if places are already signing him off with no confirmation. He obviously has a history of illness, but we shouldn't be signing him over to the dump if there is no news elsewhere.

I didn't believe the news at first, still not sure if I do now. Either way it'll be sad to see him go if he does.

If it is true, then this is pretty sad stuff. As even though I only have a couple of apple products, and I use Windows/Android for a large majority of things. Apple is still a major player in the industry, and really helped me surf the web when I'm on the move

Hopefully however, this is only a hoax as even if you don't like him - it is rather sick wishing harm on him.

With regards to the apple stocks, i can tell you that my shares in apple have not really been hit at all. Apple shares have done nothing but go up since i got mine around the release of the iphone.

I doubt this story is true. But if it is, it won't really affect apple as a company, at least in the short to medium future.
