Then feel free to donate to them, not every site and including Habbox cannot afford to do this every time one of these events happen.

Not trying to make you look bad or anything but that makes no sense, if it did go forward the money would come from habboxs users not habbox lol
I personally don't think we should have a donater feature for japan, it's about the vip to be fair otherwise you'd donate to the red cross.

contribution: a voluntary gift (as of money or service or ideas) made to some worthwhile cause.
voluntary: Done, given, or acting of one's own free will
This is suggesting that you're donating at your own will to a cause which needs help. If you're donating, don't expect to get anything out of it. Donate to the charities which are helping Japan if you really care.
If we direct the money for any donator towards another cause that isn't Habbox, Habbox is losing out. Donator is there to fund Habbox, we don't just have it there for the hell of it.Not trying to make you look bad or anything but that makes no sense, if it did go forward the money would come from habboxs users not habbox lol

That's arguable but then again you are saying people aren't basically donating to habbox they're buying additional features., which sulake doesn't allow.contribution: a voluntary gift (as of money or service or ideas) made to some worthwhile cause.

1) We can sell additional features providing we don't pocket the money for instance if it goes to charity.
2) Yes granted Habbox it self doesnt lose any money as you would assume that the majority of people who donated as such may not buy donator for that month anyway. The problem is the long term effect it has on our finances, there are people who are using the 2009 xmas charity vip. These people are unlikely to have bought donator since this period that is a loss in revenue.
3) It may not cost Habbox users anything but it will cost me and sierk money. The 09 christmas charity has cost me and sierk £90 each. Then we have 2010 on top which will cost us less I reckon.
4) If users don't mind having this limited edition donator for 2 weeks and spending £3 for it with the maximum purchase being 2 weeks then I guess we could implement it.
The way people have been pushing for this makes me a bit cynical over the humanitarian aspect of this especially when we have said no and suggested making a donation to a charity involved. I don't mean offence by this but using us as a middle man for donations will actually result in about 15% loss in tax.
