I'm going to simply agree with a lot of people in this thread - if you feel the need to donate then you should be doing it selflessly... not for personal gain or benefit (even if the 'gain' is a few pixels... the principle still stands).

But it doesn't work like that. People, in general, don't do things to help others without anything in it for them.
There is a reason Christmas VIP makes £500 a year minimum, yet Donor makes less.
People pay for VIP for the features, not to help whatever charity Habbox chooses to support.
- Just the general user, I am sure the odd person donates to help the charity..
Does that make Habbox sierk and me the most charitable if we are paying to keep Habbox running in December so we can run the charity fundraiser and allow the users a chance in the year to buy VIP? :SBut it doesn't work like that. I think it has become quite clear that we have no interest in this for rational reasons.
I don't understand, Jin?Does that make Habbox sierk and me the most charitable if we are paying to keep Habbox running in December so we can run the charity fundraiser and allow the users a chance in the year to buy VIP? :S

Not really as they're just paying to keep the sites goingThe charitable ones are the ones actually giving to charity
That said, covering the costs yourself is selfless and a means to allow others to be charitable
