I like the colour scheme and the layout HOWEVER the Staff List page is revolting, I think there should be a transition like fade in for each department
not the kind of 'spoiler' effect, other than that. I approve of it and HFFM seem jealous.

I'm not too keen on the layout, but the coding behind it is beautiful!

I'm not too sure if it's our mail sever or habbox's because I never got an activation key

Oli, maybe a year was me slightly over exaggerating. I haven't been keeping up with updates (I'm sure you guys have a good excuse why it was put on hold) version 6 has been mentioned for at least 6 months. I can remember seeing one or two updates of version 6 being announced well before January.

I think habbox has concentrated far too much on how to be unique rather than having an easy website to navigate through. I'd much rather prefer a simple website with all the features than a website with the same features put together in a more complex way. The rare values system in the past was allot better, it was easy to navigate, now it's all thrown together in a more complex way. Don't get me wrong, the website does look good but far too confusing. I've been using habbox for years, never experienced this problem. I suppose you guys want the website to look "up to date" but as I said easy navigating is the key. Sorry to whoevers idea I'm shooting down (rare values) but I'm just being honest, it was easier before, you should have just tweaked it a bit. Not only is the rare values page harder to navigate but it takes the piss to load at times and the page is huge.

Although the habbox website is down I don't think rushing into realising version 6 was a good idea. You guys should of tested it between yourselves before realising it to the public, there are / where far too many obvious bugs.

Habboxlive seems to have been shut out, the amount of content they have on habboxlive.com and bearly any of it has been added to version 6, I'm not sure if you're waiting or what's happening but I definitely think if habboxlive.com is merging with habbox.com you need to put more effort into habboxlive's side of things.

They say it's just an initial beta test, so everything will be kept to the utmost minimum and plans are to merge HabboxLive into the site, but yeh I kind of agree there's not even anything linking to the main HabboxLive website :S, how is anyone supposed to find out about events they organize when the site doesn't do that. Like Scotty said requests could also be located higher. It's these finite details that are important so I don't think you should wave it away just like that Oli.

Taking a second look at rare values it's annoying that the super rares section is gone too etc. Things are still classed as 'super', why has that whole section in itself disappeared and the navigation indeed has become more difficult in that section. I agree simplicity is the key to any website nowadays and I think the navigational concept towards v6 is actually good, but the way rare values is classed is awful, not the concept behind it, the concept of graphics is all fantastic, but like it all seems a mess with sections and categories all over the place.

Well, there is achually a link to HabboxLive if you scroll down to the bottom.

My personal opinion is that the page is too big and I don't like how they have done the rarevalues.

Of course, real life news shouldn't be there on the homepage, I'd only ever expect Habbo news, unless of course it was a massive real life news article.

You could also add more widgets on the side such as competitions and maybe even a twitter feed (seeing as everyone is going into the 21st century) and what not as there is still space on the side that you could fill there. It's not the absolute most 'WOW' layout I've seen out there, but a step up from what was there previously with Joomla.
Grig if you click "Inventory" at the very top you will see more widgets that aren't loaded onto the home page as default. There is a widget for both twitter and competitions!

Oh, I never actually saw that. You're joking me, that has got to be the last place anyone would look on the site, I would much rather they move that to the navigator rather than putting it in a small blue hyperlink on the bottom left hand corner where no one would look.

@Matt: Oh, never noticed thanks. Maybe you could make a few more default ;p?

I quite like the new rare values system and looks a lot better than the older system but you are entitlied to your own opinion regarding that.

Although the habbox website is down I don't think rushing into realising version 6 was a good idea. You guys should of tested it between yourselves before realising it to the public, there are / where far too many obvious bugs.

This is the first beta release of version six, it was never going to have the full system and features and everything when it was going be released to the public. We are aware that this version may or does have bugs, that is why we get the community of Habbox to report them so they can be fixed. It's a lot easier having you guys, looking at the site and testing it then us who may miss them for whatever reason. So please do report the bugs in the bug tracker when you come across any of them in this first beta release. Hence why software gets released out on beta versions, take a look at how many beta versions Firefox 4 had and how many bugs it used to have and so on!

Not all content is added to Habbox at this moment in time, more will be added soon. In terms of HabboxLive not being mentioned anywhere, then maybe a link could be added nearer the top of the homepage so it does actually get shown. In regards of the request line (not your post), you can easily move them up and down at your ease. Although at the moment those settings do not save if you are not a registered user, maybe that could be changed but I'll wait and see what David says in terms of doing so.

    Bold parts.

@Matt: Oh, never noticed thanks. Maybe you could make a few more default ;p?
The problem with that is, there will be too many of them by default and then it should be user choice on if they wanted them added and so on. Maybe too many as default would be too cluttered but if a user would like that, then they can easily add them?

Could someone at least still add a super rare section please. This category still exists, things are still known as 'super'.

I like it but as others have said Habboxlive is far too sidelined. I think a link from "Habbox" could work, as well as the forum. And moving things around as well - someone already said this but I don't like the way it's just all in one line. I'd like to have the request line and forum updates to the side and the rest centered but it won't let me (I removed the news widget).
