They are meant to be a joke. It is supposed to be a karaoke type of song after all.

    Exactly.

I like the idea of staff songs and I enjoy taking part in them, but I think the current one, although a nice idea to auto-tune them, in practice just makes us sound stupid.

    Nope, not just you.

I asked Calv what the song is and my first response was "is this an early April fools?" In all due respect, it's a bit of a laugh, you're not professional singers so have a fun with your natural voices. I'm enclined to say that you'd sound better without the autotune. Sorry, I guess it's okay to investigate but I think you really should go back to natural the next time you do a staff song as like Matt says, the autotune is cringeworthy.

You sir are very wrong. People used to love stuff like baby Habboxlive etc. We would get tons of requests every show to play it.

Not nowadays tho, but they like the song made so we can't really say there's anything wrong with it. I personally think it sounds funny cause it's edited.

I remember people complaining - probably people who rarely listened to HxL though - about the Telephone staff song because "they can't sing." I personally enjoy laughing at them because some voices are just so ridiculous, you have to admire their guts as well!

I'm not entirely sure but I do believe 'staff songs' are exclusive to HxL (I don't see other habbo radios do it but i dont pay much attention either so yeah they might do ) so I think that it should be encouraged to keep up the tradition.

I actually quite like the song I guess it depends on peoples tastes really, and unfortunately not everyone will like it. Habbox staff songs aren't always going to be perfect, we don't hire professional singers etc. At the end of the day it's a bit of fun, and one song isn't going to hurt anybody. As others have said, its a tradition that habbox has upheld for a good while, and trying out something new (the autotune) with it isn't going to do much harm- the singing still wont be perfect and that's to be expected. Whats important is that these people are having a go and attempting to entertain their listeners. Whilst some older members/forum members etc may not like it, we cater for a wide variety of people and habboxlive has quite a large following of habbo users/younger users who would enjoy the fun of hearing the DJ's they regularly tune into do something fun like this. I have noticed the song itself being requested too, so it must tickle someones pickle!

I mean this is my argument against- you don't hire professional singers. You might as well keep it natural to keep it exactly how it originally was. You're not professionals so an auto-tune doesn't need to be used. Dunno if this post made immense sence, I'm really tired atm.
