It started with USA & Greek or brittian i believe, that got bombed. Australians had nothing to do with it. They helped out just like several other countries. How about our living whales. all yr long they decide to come down on big boats n kill them all. Seriously, Japan can get stuffed.
Lolwut? I learnt it was the German invasion of Poland that kicked it all off... Then it was all fake or something before they advanced further. I'm sure USA didn't enter until Japan did which was later on... oh well.

Anyway you are quite arrogant. We (England) had slavery and invaded loads of countries in the past so... Yeah.

I think you should probably read about it yourself, none of these countries got bombed until the war was well under way (Americans by the Japanese, Britain by the Germans and I don't believe Greece was ever actually bombed, the assault on them was all sea/land based to my knowledge). The officially accepted beginning of WWII is Germany's march into Poland. You could suggest that Japan started it with the invasion of Manchuria but with that logic you can say the start of WWII was WWI, and so on and so on back to the beginning of the first rock thrown at another human being.

You're right, every single Japanese person is an illegal whaler. Behave. These days there are only perhaps a handful of Japanese whalers who operate in territories that aren't belonging to them, hardly enough to condemn an entire nation.

Wow, ignorant much? Japan didn't start World War II, go back to school. Yes, they bombed Pearl Habour and killed 2,000 people, but then what happened? America nuked Japan and killed 200,000 people in an instant and considerably more over the years due to radiation. Now the tsunami death toll in Japan has reached over 12,000, cities, towns and villages have been wiped off the map, people have lost their loved ones and have no where to live, hospitals are refusing treatment and the people of Japan are yet again plagued by radiation... but since they were one of the axis countries during the war I guess none of that matters, huh.

I think the comparisons of the British Empire and other European Empires being compared to the Empire of Japan in terms of advantages/disadvantages are quite absurd given the fact that anyone who has skimmed the surface of history will find that the Empire of Japan was a bloodthirsty and cruel Empire overall, whereas the British and other European Empires had vast advantages which greatly greatly outweighed the rare exhibitions of cruelty.

That said, the comparison between the Empire of Japan and the British Empire are just about as absurd as the idea that the Japanese are somehow now getting 'what they deserve' in payback for World War II. The usual case with war is that the people on the ground are the ones who pay the price, not the people who lead them - Iraq and Afghanistan being recent examples.

Nontheless, natural disasters happen to keep the population down, in my eyes. Everything happens for a reason and we can't keep going on with the rising population. Natural disasters will (and arguably must) happen.

Matt is like totally right, Wouldn't you expect people to help you if you were in their situation. It's about everyone putting their differences behind them and coming together.

behind them? This is what frustrates me. Why on earth would we forgive them, it was only last year they were killing our whales, they decide to (out of nowhere) go over & bomb USA. I don't understand how people think i'm ignorant after what they did & all i said is they don't deserve as much attention. Its life, its what they did, it's what happened.

How many of the Pearl Harbor bombers are alive now? What percentage of Japanese citizens are part of illegal pirate whaling crews?

Alive now? most probably 1 or 2 or none, but that doesn't change the fact how they bombed innocent people...
About the whaling, that has nothing to do with there government, just normal people taking a stroll all yr long killing our whales until we threatened them finally, then they stopped. Been all over the news, not my fault they do what they do.

You are ignorant because you seem to think the Japanese are the only ones with war crimes.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki ring any bells? 200,000+ dead thanks to the atomic bombs, the majority of them civillains and people are still suffering from the affects to this day. Two single bombs dropped on Japan killed 100 times more people than the entire bombing of Pearl Harbour, and you know what? They landed off-target. You really are the most ignorant person alive if you say the Japanese deserve what they're going through now because of the war, because they've already suffered through what the American's did tenfold. Revenge, if you like, was delt long ago.
