I don't understand how people think i'm ignorant after what they did & all i said is they don't deserve as much attention. Its life, its what they did, it's what happened.

I think you know as well as I do that the Australian media seem to have an agenda against Japan on the whaling issue. I'm not denying it isn't/wasn't happening but 7 and ABC love to over-exaggerate the issue, particularly on the current affairs programmes such as Today Tonight; as do all media outlets pretty much accross the world. The whaling issue is irrelevant to the debate anyway but as you keep bringing it up you need to realise that the whole of Japan aren't conspiring against Australia to KILL ALL YER WALEZ, as always it's a minority. Also you live in Adelaide which nobody really cares about anyway!

I totally agree with this. They are ignorant whalers, they do stuff to other countries, they are independent. Who cares bout em.

I care. Anyone with a decent brain should have the smallest sympathy for them. Totally loving how uneducated flipflop is - this whales incident was in the past goverment I have gathered from reading these posts above. Just because Japan's
goverment did all this does NOT mean the country as a whole did. The fact you're saying who cares is absolute **** and you really need a few extra history and geography classes.

NORMAL people form Japan, and if we didnt threaten them to stop, they would have kept coming & coming more & more people and kill them all. It makes a great deal of difference when it happened. Anybody with an ounce of empathy in their body has to sympathetic to the plight of Japan and its peoples. You are entitled to your opinion but as you can see by the reaction very few people agree. You may want to think about that.

A few whales > thousands of HUMAN lives, millions, if not billions of damage and possible radiation contamination to the whole country and possibly more.

Because everything they do... just like the dude said on the other page wherever it is, atleast he said it straight out, and its true, they dont care about anyone but themselves. Atleast the people that actually live, in Japan.
