I personally think it'd stop threads being made if there's a spam thread. Sure, there can be an active discussion but if it's all in one thread, it makes the forum look worthless.
To be honest, the only section that would truly benefit from its own spam section would be in the Habbo forums, as anything in there would of course be geared for those who actually play which is still a pretty hefty number of our members, but they don't have the sort of subcommunity that areas like RS and anime section do. Those guys could really post their rubbish in normal spam and have enough e-chums to not feel like total outcasts, but the Habbo forums don't have enough cohesion between regulars to actually bother getting involved in threads that they'll get shot down for
18+ forum.

More events for international ok ok ty
r.i.p.
At the moment you may as well rename the Spam forum to Smiddy's shack, re-enable post counting and make a new spam forum, because the quality of the posts in there is currently substantially higher than in Discuss anything since rather than trying to get posts by asking questions about things they don't care about in order to win some silly competition, people are actually enquiring about other people's daily lives and having fun film bonding sessions. And at the moment lots of forums already have spam threads anyway, for example "Post what you're listening to' or 'What did you last watch' (When was the last time you read through such a thread just to read what another person has watched recently, it doesn't make sense because if you want to talk about the Artist or the TV programme or the song and show specifically then you can just make a new thread about it)
I'm not sure why management would be that bothered about having threads in forums that would have substantially higher posting quality than the current 'Post your' threads that we currently have, even if left unmoderated, in fact I would crave for a general technology thread where I can talk about stuff that doesn't really merit a thread (ie 'here's some cool PC case mod that I've just found' or 'where's the best place to buy memory sticks), just simple short things.

What would you like to see on HabboxForum in the coming months?
- A referral competition. Obviously at the moment we are having a posting competition which is controversial to some people. But a referral competition maybe an alright idea. Get members of the forum to go out around Habbo (or even different sites to attract people to our other forums that are non-habbo based, which have a nice little community going already) and spread the word about HabboxForum.com and help them in signing up and get them posting.
- The return of the Classic Skin. Obviously i can now see it as i'm admin but everyone else wants it too. When i wasn't admin i was seriously lost without it, not even joking.
What would you like to see from Habbox Events in the coming months?
- An event an hour. Yeah this may seem ridiculous but it should be what they should aim for. I mean HabboxLive manage to basically have the radio covered for most of the day every day, so events should branch out and get more international staff and get them to cover events for that time zone. This should attract a larger fanbase from different timezones to Habbox which is still dominated by GMT people (although we do have a large array of people for all different timezones now, which is natural due to the merge)
- The requirement to do events in 50/50 rooms rather than 25/25 rooms. Alot of events are getting packed full lately and it's hard to get it. Not only that but if you get a 25/25 room full you still will not get the room on the 'Room with Most Visitors' part of the navigator. If you use a 50/50 room you only need to get like 30+ people in the room and you are on that part of the navigator. This means more exposure for Habbox.com as the URL will be in the Room Name. You could use the 50/50 room like HxHD if you want to keep similar room dimensions as a standard 25/25 room.
What would you like to see from Habbox Help Desk in the coming months?
- Roxy is really into events and with the new events stage more things are happening in there. I think maybe HxHD should aim for a Perm Event each night of the week, like they has SNQ on a Saturday, they should do some event for each day of the week, every week. This could be run by ANY member of staff from ANY department.
- Creating Habbo Events in the room. I've seen Martin doing this alot whilst sat in the room, where you make one of the Room Events on Habbo, this attracts alot of new people to the room and this should continue to be done.
What would you like to see from HabboxLive in the coming months?
- I'm very much Pro Hx & HxL Merge. It seems pointless to have 2 separate sites, there really is no argument for keeping both as they same could be done on each site. Alot of DJs just advertise www.Habboxlive.com which does not attract people to Habbox.com itself, which is the official fansite and it has loads more content on it for other departments like News, Rare Values and Forum.
What would you like to see from Rare Values in the coming months?
- This was something i was going to do if i was still RV manager. I was going to set up a script that would detect new additions to furni on Habbo as they come in and do news articles on them. I understand it could be seen as 'Releasing unreleased information' which is against the Habbo Fansite Way, but other fansites get away with it like Habbotimes.de etc So i think there wouldn't be an issue. And if there was Sulake would just say so and we'd remove the feature.
- RV needs to do more Community Events, i am guilty of not doing this myself. Although i did have a massive RV Quest planned and finished and regular HxHD Takeovers were in planning stages.
What would you like to see from Competitions in the coming months?
- Less spammage of www.Habbox.com/Comps
Jokes. I really cant think of anything. Maybe we could introduce something like a Rep Quota? Oh wait.... (Sorry mike it was too tempting.
I've left.I'm back.

I think the tech and runescape communties are pretty close too, among others, and might welcome a chance just to lay back and chat.To be honest, the only section that would truly benefit from its own spam section would be in the Habbo forums, as anything in there would of course be geared for those who actually play which is still a pretty hefty number of our members, but they don't have the sort of subcommunity that areas like RS and anime section do.
