    • An event an hour. Yeah this may seem ridiculous but it should be what they should aim for. I mean HabboxLive manage to basically have the radio covered for most of the day every day, so events should branch out and get more international staff and get them to cover events for that time zone. This should attract a larger fanbase from different timezones to Habbox which is still dominated by GMT people (although we do have a large array of people for all different timezones now, which is natural due to the merge)
    Habbox Events isn't HabboxLive. Simple.
Events Organisers have to find time in their busy schedule, think of an idea, book the event, make the room, announce the event, get the event popular, host the event, request reputation, get prizes, give out prizes, and sometimes request points to be added to a leaderboard. They're not robots and I think it's silly to expect them to be.

Oh and yeah, find us some international people who are willing to host events and then get back

Not only that but if you get a 25/25 room full you still will not get the room on the 'Room with Most Visitors' part of the navigator. If you use a 50/50 room you only need to get like 30+ people in the room and you are on that part of the navigator. This means more exposure for Habbox.com as the URL will be in the Room Name. You could use the 50/50 room like HxHD if you want to keep similar room dimensions as a standard 25/25 room.
Indeed, events are "getting packed full lately" because it's Easter and it's the school holidays. In the quieter months and on school nights, it's not always easy to get 15 people, let alone 25.
I made a thread in the Events Organiser section a couple of days ago advising events to be held in the large V9 rooms for the Easter period. Introducing yet another requirement is silly.

    Thanks for your ideas

Aye you're right that was kinda my point though - they're close enough that they could make threads in the current spam and have enough of them take part to not feel like they "can't" post there. Back in the olllllllld days RS guys used to invade spam almost daily without being told (too often ) where to go and I know it died for a while but there seems to have been a revival there

    .
DJs need to find time in their schedule to book a slot as well. They have to plan a show and think of an idea to do during the show. They need to make a party room or at least find a party room or if they are doing a special event they need to organise that as well, they need to advertise the party room (as well as advertising your events which goes towards getting them popular) they need to spend the full hour hosting their show as well as putting a lot of time and effort into it. They have to make sure they have prizes and issue prizes during or after their show as well so I don't understand why you think it's so much different but just as much work goes into the DJs show as events organisers put into their events. The requirement for a DJ is 3 hours a week at least and I think it's 4 a month for events?

Maybe the events should have to do more than 4 a month and there would be quite a lot more.

Yeahhh, EOs are required to do at least 1 event per week (while ensuring it adds up to 5 a month). To be fair, I wouldn't say no to the requirement being raised because the majority do it anyway.

It's also worth noting that HabboxLive has 42 DJs which is, on average in a 168 hour week, only 4 hours per DJ.
Fitting that ratio to the events team which only has 12 people at present (albeit adding a bunch of trialists shortly), EOs would have to do 14 events per week. Our staff limit at events is 25 which still means 6 events per week; not impossible, but shouldn't be expected. There's the reason why Events can't be compared to HabboxLive and shouldn't be expected to perform 24 hours a day.

Well if they did 3 a week that would tripple the amount you have just now which would fill the time up quite a bit. Posting an announcement as well doesn't take ages either it takes about 30 seconds lol But I think Dan meant that in the future what he would like to see was more events which with more staff and an upped amount of required events would start to do.

Although we ask our staff to do 1 event per week we expect more and they know that, however, if we asked them to do three per wee/12-15 per month I think it's a lot to ask because the have to spend their own furni for prizes. I myself would agree with the limit being raised but some people just can't afford that.
