I've recently taught myself how to write in binary, being a geek, I LOVE it! Does anybody else enjoy the simplistic nature binary offers?

Hmm, people can understand me if they know how to read it. But that's not the point anyway. I just think it's a beautiful foundation of technology, it's been around for so long and all.

Btw, is base36 like hex?

Hex would be base-16, consisting of 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F

Base-36 would be 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,<then the entire alphabet>

Binary was fun to learn about at college, you never forget it either as it's so easy to understand. Good also as computers only understand (as far as I know) 0V or +5V which can be represented by a 1 or a 0.

You should try learning hexidecimal and octal

Something you may like, is counting in binary on ur fingers, i done this when learning binary ages ago and found it pretty cool, theres probs some vids on youtube or something..
