    Well I'm not sure how they will make a profit now then with insurance "doubling" as someone pointed out in this thread. Who would pay this per annum? Ridiculous.

    I pay 3k on a 60 plated 500 which is actually quite a good deal considering.... Try admiral multicar, if you insure all household cars on the same policy with no-claims protection it can save you quite a bit

    £3k m8 are u avin a larf? I have a mate the same age as me (younger than me actually) with a 55 reg 2.0 turbo Astra (170bhp) and he's paying £3.5k p.a for that, and i pay £1.4k for a Clio with probs more power than your five-hunner, who are you with? "Jim's Insurance"?!

    North of England is proper dear for insurance haha maybe that's something to do with it.

    that is pretty expensive, I was paying less than that on my Golf when I was that age. I'm 20 now and pay £1200 on the Bora.

    i'm the star in the reasonably priced car!
