Think this is stupid. They say that they they'll take the question into consideration when marking - what about those who spent longer on that question because they couldn't get the answer? and then rushed through the rest of the paper...

I didn't take it obviously because im GCSE still, but I still think its unfair.

Then they're doing it wrong. If u struggle on a question/taking too long it, you move on and do the rest first.

Makes no difference, if the exam board cant get their own questions right then they need to sort it out. These are people A-levels.

Obviously its not good, but that's hardly an excuse.

It may only be one question, but it was worth 11 marks or something ridiculous. If its fixable (which it is) then they should do something about it. i.e make them sit the back up paper.

    To all concerned students,

If any of you feel as outraged as i am at the errors included in the OCR D1 paper which we all sat on 26th May, and feel like you would like to send a strong message to OCR in order to communicate your frustration then please join the group i have set up on facebook. The group is titled,
"PETITION! to be allowed to retake the OCR Maths D1 exam for free!".

    http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=...29744723708613

The petition if accepted would allow all students (who want to) to retake the test if they wish. I believe this is the only way we can all expect a fair grade. OCR's "statistical measures" wont account for time wasted on an unsolvable question and how this has affected confidence, performance and stress levels. If we can get a large enough group, i will try to pass the petition to downing street. If you feel cheated then join this group. Many thanks.
