So like I said, you don't know the definition of majority. In the image that Hashterix posted, IE is the most popular, the mode, but not the majority.

    Thank you for your concern.

The full website is fully compatible with all browsers (including IE6!!)

    There.

Oleh is right. And maybe you've gone blind because you didn't say anything about it being the most widely used browser.

And I never claimed to have said that. I said it was worth coding for. That's the bit I was referring to when I said 'I did say that in my first post'.
Oleh is not right. Sort of. Words are defined by their usage, if some people use it that way then they're going against the most popular and accepted usage of the word, but that's how words evolve, so I won't complain about that. Check the 2nd definition in that link btw.
    Also, check this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majority
'A majority is a subset of a group consisting of more than half of its members'. My link has a lovely bit saying how a majority is not the same as a plurality.

All I did was post saying your source wasn't reliable and show some more realistic statistics. Thats nothing to do with saying he should code for it, if anything you were agreeing with me in your first post since I said that in the first place, but upon my reply showing your statistics were incorrect you decide to make an argument out of it. You do not "win" something that isn't a competition. Your point isn't valid because the point you're claiming is valid isn't the point that was challenged in the first place, you only made people challenge it by repeating your "point still stands".

I'm perfectly aware of what was posted, thank you. After your lovely image, I pointed out that my point still stands as a way of saying "oh yay, multiple sources are involved now, and my point still stands, I was indeed right."
Then for some reason you came back saying my point was **** and that it wasn't used by a majority, creating an argument (in the debating sense, not in the confrontational, angry sense), you were wrong.
I then pointed out the definition of majority, showing that my point was not ****, it was completely correct as backed up by evidence provided by yourself, and I won the argument.
All of my points are valid, thanks. It's what I do, I'm Princess ValidPointMaker.

    Just to settle things:
We both agree that IE is not used by the majority, although it is the most popular browser, yes?
We both agree that websites should still cater to IE, yes?
We both agree that my tongue hurts because I burnt it last night, yes? No? Well it does because I did.

IE is the majority even though the browser sucks and many only use it because it comes with Windows and alot of people don't even know about any other browser... Chrome beats them all though
