Why... sorry but SOME people at 12-13 can act way more mature than someone over 16 - what a stupid and ageist idea.

I didnt twist anything, more how i interpreted what you said. It's not just because we've been on the forum forever (which honestly should be a big factor, we know this forum, our contributions should honestly be heard instead of being instantly dismissed), but its the MAJORITY. And not going to change ? why the hell not? If the majority want it, why not? This is the stupidest answer i've EVER seen. My god.

I'm 12 and in the nicest respect, I'd say I'm not as immature as some other people my age. I don't feel like there is anything people 16+ would talk about that I don't already get... so if this forum were to happen why would it be fair for me to not get access to the 16+ forum? Age is a number.

There are many forums on the internet which filter swearing, even forums tailored specifically for adults. Why? Because not only are there millions of other words you can use in lieu of what we consider swear words but it demerits the quality of posts made. Habbox Forum has always taken pride in that we're not just a forum composed of one and two word posts consisting of nothing but swearwords and random pictures from lolcats.

I am not shocked that people wish to be able to choose to have the option of not seeing the language filter (though unfortunately such a plugin wouldn't work on Habbox Forum), but I am surprised that some people want the filter to be obliterated altogether. That would have serious repercussions and that's certainly not something that we're going to do anytime soon, either.

Because if we are going to allow videos to be posted that contain swearing with no warning or spoiler we may as well remove the forum filter? Having a look through the old threads you were the one who suggested that mild swearing videos should be allowed as longs it contains a warning and is in a spoiler? It's really not going to change as the filter isn't going to be removed so it's still got to be put in a spoiler

If that be the case, a forum for anyone who disagrees with the filter, and wants to post where there is none
Those who don't want to read or post there simply don't go there?
& obviously, there would be boundaries of what content can and can't be posted, but more lax than other categories

It's MILD swearing, not swearing all over the shop or in text. Its just for a brief second a word is said. Big ******* woop. And i suggested that because we had Führer Oli and that was probably as far as he was going to listen. I had hope for the new management but it would seem you lot are just as bad, if not worse.

You never fail to disappoint.

You have to remember that habbox has a lot of younger users, and any one of them could go watching these videos. It works the same way as the filter, we don't do it for fun, we do it to stop younger members viewing it by accident.

Yes, we have alot of younger users, but not like in this modern age they don't swear anyway. Not like it would really matter
