They are about fantasy stories. One about vampire and one about magic.

I totally understand why a 'director' hates the most successful series of movies in terms of financial success ever.

Star Trek is a TV show and that has far more fans.

Potter is a powerhouse franchise and the most successful *financially* - as long as you don't adjust for inflation, in which case it isn't - but it's not the biggest series to ever hit the movies. And how could it when its principle actors are that atrocious? Heh.

As big as Star Wars? Not a chance. Do not even entertain the idea.

Oh yeah, I agree. The actors in Harry Potter are atrocious. Those atrocious actors are part of the reason it is the biggest series of movies in terms of excitement factor etc in the 21st century (in my opinion, and lets be honest with ourselves it probably is when looking at the thing that matters. The amount of money it makes.

Looking forward to this as I do enjoy the movies. It is a shame they are never as thorough as the books, although you have to expect that when you look at the superb amounts of detail in the books.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!! Like pretty much everyone here, I've grown up with Harry Potter... read all the books and visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Islands of Adventure, Orlando many, many times. Absolutely brilliant and can't wait omggggg.
