side note: how important are lyrics to you in songs?? I never really listen out for the lyrics and just consider the vocals as an instrument.. but my favourite act rely on the lyrics, so i have no idea.

probably what kept me from hating Friday
I primarily listen to hardcore, which is pretty much 95% about the lyrics and what they mean to the vocalist/band, but having said that I don't actively listen to bands that have something to say, there are a few bands I listen to where, like you said, the vocals are just an addition

There's nothing heavy, metal or screamo about Black Veil Brides

You dont know many genres do you.

    I listen to Dubstep/House/Garage/Trance/Funky/Hardcore/Jumpstyle/Hardstyle

@samsaBEAR most people see Hardcore now as Happy Hardcore, HH died out imo, and its now called Hardcore.
I think it's even been classed as that in genres

I think more people think of hardcore as rock hardcore now, not dance hardcore

I don't mean the dance music Hardcore, I mean the Hardcore where people go to shows and punch the **** out of each other and remain friends after

Why have you put hiphop with pop instead of rap or rnb? I know there's a diversity of sound throughout all genres but Rakim isn't very much like Britney
