Talking about sex on the forum

Considering I just got an infraction for exactly that from one of the Super Moderators, is there some sort of policy on this? As there are younger members (as my infraction PM pointed out), shouldn't this be a more stern rule?

I realise that there's the "Do not post inappropriately" rule, but I'm pretty sure younger members & their parents wouldn't want them reading about somebodys sexual exploits... Mild, or explicit. Maybe worth changing that to none at all? Or even creating a 18+ section for older members?

They wouldn't create an 18+ section 'cause its unfair and people would lie about their age. When the truth really is management friends are 12 and don't want them left out.

The only problem with that though would be that you'd get people signing up posting porn thinking it's a section to post porn pictures and I doubt they would like that.

And as Richie said, people would change their age to 18.

I wouldn't say that's fair (not even because I'm 12 AND 13 NEXT MONTH) - some younger people are maybe even sometimes more mature than an 18 y/o half the time so why would it be fair for them to not to be able to see the 18+ forum if they already know about sex/adult topics?

Age is just a number.

There should be an 18+ section where the rules are lax, as for not being fair that's a joke the entire forum caters for kids when a large part of the community are over 18.
Also you're 12? and have been on the site for over 2 years? You are too young to play habbo, and be a part of a habbo fansite yet your a member of staff... That's shocking.

I'd like to think people are mature enough to stick to quality discussions instead of giggling at sex like little schoolchildren. This is Habbox and there's a certain professionalism and general aura about this site which makes it slightly better than the childish realms of ClubHabbo and the likes.

Which is the case sometimes but you wouldn't see a 12 year old going into a off licence asking for a 6 pack of beer because they're mature.

If there was an over eighteen forum I would be pretty annoyed. With one google search you can find anything on the internet. If its allowed for them, it should be allowed for us. Same rules for all.

Are you serious? Whose going to see a website called habboxforum, with a habbo banner, loads of habbo discussion boards and then scout out a mature forum and sign up to post porn? And if that were an issue, general management could put underneath the forums name " 18+ For mature discussion however explicit content will not be tolerated (e.g pornographic pictures/videos or explicit material)"

Management think it's inappropriate for members to post songs which contain swearing etc due to younger users seeing it so having a +16 or +18 section would resolve this issue.

Or management could just do a majority vote, that'd never happen though because it'd probs be in favour lol
