Don't forget that Ryan was also talking about another member of this forum and clearly expressed the persons name a number of times. The thing is Shar even small things get picked up on, I don't understand why videos can say **** once but not 7 times. Even with a warning that would be removed and trying to find some rap / r&b songs without swearing can be a difficult task. I suppose that's for another discussion.
I sort of agree but we wouldn't need an additional forum if things were removed when they genuinely started going gory / in depth. I can't remember everything ryan said last night but what I remember none of it was too far in depth but I suppose your view of in depth is different to mine, the odd mention of a fanny is fine for me and of the fingers in a cookie jar.
What I still can't get my head around is people still seem to think that adding stuff to a spoiler is going to make a difference, it is like telling a child not to stick a crayon up their nose, they're going to do it. I didn't have a problem with what Ryan said to me and if the spoiler is the way it should go, the mod should of added a spoiler rather than removing it.The way you grew up isn't necessarily the same way everyone grew up. The general consensus is that talking about sex in detail, insulting people in a sexual nature, is vile and/or vulgar. You wouldn't participate in a discussion with people you don't or hardly know in real life and tell them to:
Offensive content in example
Go have sex with two dogs a monkey and a bearded ugly naked chimp
And that's exactly the sort of content which would go viral in the spam section if talking about sex was allowed. We are not embedding a restriction which impairs how you communicate with others, or even one that is that causes a nuisance 99/100 times you go to make a post. This isn't an adult or sexual oriented forum and so it's not appropriate to allow discussions to include (especially insults) posts to do with described acts of sex.
Make a forum where only users under the age of 18 can talk about their colouring books and how they snook into a rated 15s movie. Not a horrible idea with regards to the 18+ forum but it would just be too difficult to manage. Also, unfair to set such a blatant and visible age necessary to take part in "mature discussion" which would most definitely just end up discouraging and belittling younger members from using the forum. To add, the majority of members aren't over 18 so such a forum would mostly be dead, and going back to it being difficult to manage it would be nigh on impossible to catch someone in a lie trying to gain access.
On a serious note though, I don't think the 18+ forum is necessary, just calm down on the usernotes no-one is actually being offended, you do know that. Right?

Which is fair enough but you should send that user a private message, if they don't reply due to being inactive it shouldn't be a problem.

Obviously not, which is why I'd like things to be just thought through a little more. Moderators should ask themselves (if a post hasn't been reported) is this truly hurting someone's feelings or inappropriate?

If someone chooses not to want to see useless, immature garbage they don't have to click "show" on the spoiler and don't have to see it. Freedom of choiceWhat I still can't get my head around is people still seem to think that adding stuff to a spoiler is going to make a difference, it is like telling a child not to stick a crayon up their nose, they're going to do it. Several times the other day a particular member posted rude sexual innuendos retaining to another individual having to do with personal occurrences between the individual and female he was victimizing. This behaviour was simply appalling and absolutely disgusting. The behaviour was reported and a moderator dealt with the member. The member then went on to continue his rampage of idiocy off Habbox.Make a forum where only users under the age of 18 can talk about their colouring books and how they snook into a rated 15s movie.

1. This person wanted nothing other than to entertain himself and his friends at the expense of another person's feelings
2. None of their posts were constructive at all and only encouraged further conflict.
Needless to say it is extremely easy to offend other people when bringing in the whole sex thing and it does happen, will continue to happen, and would continue to happen with more messy scenarios if we removed this rule.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
Depending on the area, my area is like that.
Police round certain areas can't really punish teenagers. People shout **** all the time, and talk about indecent things in public, I've never seen the police do anything about itYes, obviously. All the world is, but if you were to do in public, of course there would be trouble with the police. My point was, that's life with the law and the police, mind that this is a forum for teenagers.
And yeah, you're not going to get arrested for talking about it on here, but there's rules, and proritys.
No andy, then I wouldn't be able to see pics of you
Town friday/Saturday night
'More than a passing interest' is not normal chatting Richie. It is an expression that means abnormal behaviour so I think you are quite safe. Also your post was not edited because of 'sex' it was edited because you had inadvertently been dragged into another member targeting and basically bullying another member. The pm did explain it.
