No, that's just violence. WWE is more like a soap... Scripted violence!

Wrestling is entertainment, and entertainment to most fans, is the Attitude Era.
    Plus what You said, above.

It's about entertainment, tlc matches provide that, and to me its a great substitute for soaps because its scripted. I watch UFC for violence/real fighting.

TLC matches are part of the "PG era".

Plenty of what you see in the UFC is staged. Not the fights, but all the build-up and talk is rubbish to sell tickets, but that's business.

TNA is TV-14 and you say it's worse? Firstly, yes, it is, but then WWE is PG and the product is far better. It's all down to the creative minds behind the shows, not the rating. Blood was WAY overused anyway. The times have changed and the Attiude Era wouldn't be what it was back then if it was brought back today. It's all been done before. You have to go with the times. The themes of the Attitude Era were a '90s thing, it wouldn't fly the same these days.

The atitude era wasn't all violence, the storylines were better, the heels were more... heel-ier, the twists and turns were there, creative wasn't stuck in a slump and it was just... entertaining. The wrestling was entertaining, the outcomes were entertaining, most of the promos were entertaining. That's entertaining, today's wrestling is far from entertaining barring some matches (discounting Monday night cos I cannot complain about the whole of that RAW).

One thing to remember is that htese days everyone reads the dirt sheets online and has taken a LOT away from wrestling. If people didn't, their views would dramatically change. Hell, I do it and used to write for Gerweck.net, but I'd really rather I didn't. The "magic" of wrestling has gone because of your own actions (and mine). That said, there's no accounting for the creative team because we really do not have the power to change that.

I still call that CM Punk wins, and Rio cashes purley because the stipulation McMahon put for the match (On the pretayped next week raw)

The stipulation is (Dont look if you dont want it spoiled).......

If CMPunk Leaves with the Title Cena is fired, it sais nothing about Cena loosing the title.

It would make sence. The Drama of Cena loosing, thinking he is fired, then hit MrMcMahons Music with Del Rio behind him (Similar to how he brought out Batista to beat Cena for the title)

I think it makes perfect sense

Cena was already "fired" last year. I'm pretty sure Punk is definitely on the way out on July 17.

Cena was complaining about being overworked and he's also carrying a real injury so the probability that CM Punk will win is high. However, CM Punk was also claiming he's exhausted and in need of a rest so... make up your own mind. It's either CM Punk wins, Cena gets fired, MITB winner cashes in on Punk and he and Cena go on hiatus for a month or Punk wins, Cena gets fired, and Punk 'runs off' with the title for a month until Summerslam.

I don't know. If creative screw this up, however, I will kill myself. It's almost impossible to make this storyline boring.
