And what do you mean Luke? Just because we are online, doesn't mean we can't have a studio.
It's not that I'm slating, it's just my personal opinion, but do you NEED this equipment, just to stream to an online audience. An audience you don't even know the figures of yet? I mean, if you were guaranteed a good listener rate, then yeah, professional is good, but if not, then is it worth it?

Sometime's you have to take risk. I've just finished my degree and at the university I studied lots of students where annoyed that the university didn't have a student radio and was even working with the student union to turn it official. It fell through as they wanted to own it all but couldn't pay any of the fees.

So I'm making a radio that's main audience is students and will be also ran by lots of local presenters. I already have a few who will be doing shows and as time progresses and we get popular we aim to get more.

And we do have some of the equipment and through the next few months while we are planning the launch we will be kitting it out with more. I am picking up a pioneer amp in the morning and will be getting speakers soon, possibly Tannoy studio monitors.
