How did you work that out? So a 19 year old (or however old) person who's passed their test, driving on their own is more at risk of having an accident than a 17 year old provisional licence holder who has an "experienced driver" with them. Just because the provisional holder has an "experienced" driver with them, doesn't mean they can drive.. (well, or at all!), where as sombody who has a full licence CAN actually fully drive.
I was looking at insurance on a 1.6 corsa yesterday cheapest as provisional was £1500, cheapest with full was £5000.
Put it this way, who is gonna drive more like a ***, a 17 year old who's just passed his test and driving in his car alone, or a 17 year old learner with his ****-scared mum in the passenger seat? How did you work that out? Omg thats so dumb lool, why would someone with a provisional be cheaper then someone who has acturly passed and has a licence! And the longer youv bin driving the cheaper your insurance gets.

Because as danzooo said, more people drive like asshats when they're alone on a full license rather than with their supervisor on a provisional license. It's exactly how it works, I found out the expensive way just 3 - 4 months ago lol. It's a shame for us who don't drive like prats and go into town blasting our dubstep but there we go, life is unfair. How did you work that out? This is correct. As a provisional license holder on my old '03 1.2 clio it was about £1100 a year, when I passed it went up to £1400. Proof is in the pudding too, even nowadays I can't drive how I want with my mum in the car because she always shouts at me to slow downBecause as danzooo said, more people drive like asshats when they're alone on a full license rather than with their supervisor on a provisional license.
