No, there's really no need whatsoever for men to be macho as the only purpose for that is for hunter-gatherer male to be better equipped to provide food. Those of us who are somewhat more evolved mentally and culturally have no such requirement, nor do we need to assert ourselves as animals. The idea that men have to be physical, fight all the time, not care about aesthetics, and never show emotion is one that comes directly from weak societies that I'm thankfully not a part of. I'm not saying that men CAN'T be those things, just that they shouldn't feel they have to be, same as how women don't have to be just a vessel for children and never have aspirations. *REMOVED*
