I am what they call a BISEXUAL. Attracted to both sexes! This could be a difficult concept for your mind to follow but I'm sure if you give it enough thought it could break through those four walls of ignorance and we could get to some level of understanding

But it's possible to be attracted to both. Just think about it a little, I know it might take some time but you will get it eventually.

Besides you can think what you like of me, I honestly don't care if you think I'm gay straight or bi. Some people mind their own business and aren't bothered by other people's way of life. You should try considering that one day. :rolleyes:

No, it is nothing like that. Nothing at all. You cannot help who you are attracted to. Homosexuality is present in 1500 species and homophobia is found in only ONE. I think it's easy to see which one is natural.

If thats suggesting Zyzz (as much as I disagree with him) is homophobic then thats wrong, he's not being homophobic in the slightest.

Homophobia is just a word thrown at people that think homosexuality is wrong. It is wrong. /thread

The word homophobia means to have an irrational fear of homosexuals - to oppose homosexuality on grounds of morality, hygenie or anything else is not homophobic and if you want to have a sensible discussion about homosexuality then it would be wise to avoid words which imply your opponents as mentally backward. For example - I oppose my country becoming Islamic on good grounds, that doesn't mean i'm 'islamophobic'.

The Oxford Dictionary defines homophobia as 'an extreme and irrational aversion to homosexuality and homosexual people.', the definition of aversion is 'a strong dislike or disinclination' so you are wrong anyway. The Oxford Dictionary is correct, you are not. In the past it meant a fear, but it doesn't now, not in its common form. You just see the word phobia and jump to uneducated conclusions.

Oh please just give it a rest with the technicalities. I already addressed this in an earlier post in another thread which you conveniently ignored. I don't care what it's called, everyone knows what is meant by it who cares if the "phobia" part is technically wrong. Write to the dictionaries if you actually care that much, I for one certainly don't so pipe down.
