He did but I think partly because of an inside joke regarding GoDaddy (curse you Tom and Matt!!).

In all honesty it's not a matter of being able to "handle" linux (in which case I do know my way around a Ubuntu or Debian terminal to do the basics - I run a headless Ubuntu box for a few things here at home) but someone like Tom or others on the forum are just very much so more knowledgable and experienced with Linux and managing a server on Linux than I am. I haven't spoken to Jin about root access to the server if he feels comfortable giving that out to anyone I presume he will. If, for instance Matt or I did have such access I feel confident we would make do because we would have Tom here who's experienced enough to help, and easy enough for us both to inslave
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

I don't deal with this rubbish on a daily basis!
Nub LOL. It's just the simplest possible number system; base 2. We work in base 10 in normal life. Hexdecimal is base 16. The only reason we use base 10 is because we have 10 fingers/thumbs. If we had 8 then we'd probably be using the base 8 number system (called octal).

Nah, I think he just pretends he knows a lot so he can keep winging about server downtime.
