I came to this thread expecting to see you with a tattoo!

Shaped by christianity ? maybe for people who believe! Fair enough you dont like them but it really has nothing to do with religion ? its just your opinion...

Actually this country is shaped by Christianity, you may not believe in Christianity but everything is - the monarchy, our justice system, our sense of right and wrong (which is falling apart) - everything and once its lost you will regret its gone. But ''m simply making the point that its interesting that since its losing its grip, we seem to be reverting back to Pagan-like rituals of painting our bodies with ugly patterns/tribal signs.

    Progress eh? I think not.

But there's no denying that covering ourselves in piercings/markings is alike Paganism/African tribal groups, and thats one reason i'm opposed to tattoos. I just think it looks very backward as well as being ugly.

Isn't a discussion about religion, its about tattoos - I think they belong in the past before we advanced.

    I agree...

Religion really doesn't have anything to do with liking or disliking tattoos ? :/

I don't believe in religion at all and think it's completely unnecessary for it to be brought up on a thread about tattoos :/

    This.
Even if tattoos did start off as a religious thing, everything evolves and changes.
