It would be unnecessary due to the lack of posting around the forum of recent times. I'm not defending the comments in spam though, Isn't it the job of the moderators to stop this sort of behavior? Adding prefixes wouldn't solve the problem at all, if anything it'd discourage the older members from posting in spam anymore thus losing more users as the spam section would be largely dominated by Habbo threads. The ironic thing is, there is a Habbo section where all that content can be posted, and it would receive a better response, maybe general management should change the rules slightly to allow threads like the example in this thread to be posted in the section it's based around.

Well I'm not going to defend the comments in Spam but it's a part of life really. At a typical high school you get the bullies and the popular people and the more quieter people, it's something that can't just go away because we don't like it. It anything people should learn to ignore comments or just get on with life. It happens everywhere, on the internet, at school and at workplaces.
But why bother? Surely it is so immature?

Something being immature or pointless doesn't mean it'll stop. It's pointless asking for the return of VIP or the unbanning of all accounts but people still make those threads time after time. The thing is that everything has consequences, and they're not always going to be fair or good - if you post something in spam that isn't interesting you won't make friends from it, just like going up to a stranger in the street and telling them you love unicycles won't garner a positive response most of the time. If people want to post Habbo things in the spam section then go ahead and do it, but you can't expect everyone to like you for it.

A separate "Habbo spam" section won't be anything of a safehouse for such conversations as it's still spam and therefore still open to anyone posting anything, unless you enforce a rule whereby you have to talk about Habbo in it in which case it's going to be stuff covered by one of the forums in the Habbo section anyway.

Also KKK is not a spam thread, it's a VIP conversation area that was moved to spam to save space of one subforum which was extremely active yet seen by management as unnecessary.

Also, many members are just going to take the piss of threads on Habbo spam, like has happened before when people posted habbo spam threads, thinking they were funny, but in fact would not make the dumbest of human beings laugh.

This is like that time where people got pumped on a fresh idea of reading forums etc. but they just died in about 2/3 months. This is going to be the same, all the supporters are just going for it because they like the novelty, but bet you it won't last that much after a while. Or I really can't see the diversity of threads you can post in relation to Habbo spam, but chat logs of conversations.

I don't think they do expect people to like them but why do some feel it necessary to make sure they feel unwelcome? It is not an exclusive club. @ the Don - negative comments as such don't break the rules so unless any do break the rules there is nothing we can do.

Do you know I feel that type of comment is quite arrogant. It takes all sorts and what one might not find funny, maybe another would. Spam is not a 'superior' forum it should be for all.

As soon as I read this these were my thoughts as well. Its ridiculous people think they can't post habbo related things, because all they get is a bunch of negative posts from those who use spam. I'd go as far to say some members feel discouraged from posting in spam altogether because it is just treated like an exclusive club. I think it also pushes new members away because I know from my point of view, before I joined habbox spam is the only place I would of posted. If I didn't play habbo I really wouldn't of stuck around here. Anyway I was talking to Shaz about this and she doesn't feel its like this anymore but it used to be so I dread to think what it was like before.

I totally agree and It is nice to see somebody sticking up for the right for all to post without fear of being
put down. It doesn'ty happen generally in other parts of the forum. If one doesn't find a thread funny/interesting why even bother to post in it?

I think it's because there is a perfectly suited Habbo category people can post in for anything related to Habbo. You can't blame the Spam members getting annoyed, and surely it's natural for people to disagree? So if members do take the proverbial piss out of a member for posting Habbo spam in the Spam forum, then that's just natural because the majority of the time it won't be funny or interesting You get the same response to uninteresting threads by members (Robbie! I think?) where the hordes of the Spam army will mock or post the blatantly obvious that it's not funny or interesting, or a wee bit arrogant

The Spam forum is a weird place, despite the name people like it when random, pointless threads are interesting and useful to the reader.

The people in spam are so defensive of their forum authority it's laughable at the extent they go to to keep their position in their little forum lives.

In 2008 or w.e when I joined I could post in spam freely, I came back recently after the closure of THF and it was laughable at how hypocritical some of the posts where, and one person in particular seems to take it in his stride to try and tower over me.

If you're so frightened of your forum position and feel you have to defensively attack someone then I think its about time you left the forum because it's embarrassing!
