Sadly we all know it was coming. Such a shame from a man who turned around a company which now makes billions, a lot of people will indeed miss him. R.I.P

I think we know the reason why he died, I can't think of it being anything else and if it is then it's very surprising. It is a sad day as he did change a technology company around which now makes billions, he had many great ideas that people will agree or disagree to. He will be missed by many, may he R.I.P.

"The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come. For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it's been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely." ~ Bill Gates.

"The world has lost a visionary. And there may be no greater tribute to Steve's success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented. Michelle and I send our thoughts and prayers to Steve's wife Laurene, his family, and all those who loved him." ~ Barack Obama

Did not expect to wake up to this

There's no doubting he knew how to market a product, drive sales and run a company, he was a very smart man and a great loss to many, many people.

Also I cleaned this thread out of all off-topic posts so it would be nice and respectful to keep it that way if possible. Thanks

I think the fact that he was working up until only 6 weeks before his death also speaks volumes.
