    Default Scars On Broadway

"Scars on Broadway is an American rock band. The band currently consists of System of a Down members Daron Malakian and John Dolmayan, along with Franky Perez, Danny Shamoun, and Dominic Cifarelli."
Daron is the guitarist & John is the drummer of System of a down.

They're actually pretty good, just downloaded they're album and if its anything thing like the single "They Say" then it should be good.

Check out the single >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBqsZKE0wuk

The album is amazing, I listen to it all the time. I hope that they perform in the UK, but Daron is busy with the SOAD reunion atm so it will be a while.
Also, a new album is on the cards so I'm waiting for that!

I love Scars on Broadway, I feel they have a much better sound than SOAD, I love all the songs on the album while a lot of system songs are hit and miss, mostly miss for me.

Lol @ bumping a 3 year old thread. Anyway, they sound good on the album, but really... Malakian is probably the worst performer I've ever seen live. Completely ruined SOAD's 2006 Ozzfest performance - Apparently he thinks its funny to replace all of his lines in every song with completely random garbage. In general, I don't think he's that great of a singer, especially compared to Serj; I was incredibly disjointedness with Mez/Hyp. He should stick to the guitar.

Then again, I guess neither Serj's solo stuff of SoB ever really took off as well as SOAD did - guess they needed cash and decided to tour together again.

Disappointed, not disjointedness. Thanks, Android auto-correct. Maybe I will switch to Apple products.

Mez is one of thier best albums (BYOB, Cigaro, Radio/Video) but SOADs best album overall has gotta be Toxicity.

Ehh, sorry, gotta disagree. Steal was probably their best, then Tox. Mez was pretty horrible, especially BYOB, Radio/Video and the last couple songs. There were a couple good songs though, like 'This cocaine..' and Revenga.

Steal is quite good but the tracks from Mez and Toxicity are definitely the most memorable. On Toxicity, pretty much every song is a success in its own right and each has a different message or view that it is trying to get across. SOAD are one of the greatest rock bands alive.
