    Default Microsoft Office [Urgent}

    Hey,

    So you probably remember my thread about MO2007, and some recommended phoning Microsoft.

    So I went on to their support pages, and it says £200 to phone them over the issue?

    Is there a better number to phone that isn't a £200 charge? :S

    Do you mean to Microsoft?

    If so, sadly not I need to sort it before about 6PM, as it is for my sister and she is back from Uni for a couple of days (going back at 6PM).

    Is this an activation issue or what? If so when it fails activation over the phone it automatically forwards you to a(n Indian) person.

    Activation issue (over the internet). Says I have it on the maximum PC's, but this isn't the case.

    Do it using their activation phone line (always use the toll free number), it'll ask you how many PCs its installed on and should activate 100% fine. The only time I've had to speak to someone is with my Dreamspark Server2008R2 key and the guy activated it in under 2 minutes for me.

    Giving that a go, cheers

    The problem last time was that is accepted the key, and then decided the key couldn't be used haha

    As normal, thanks for the help, Tom.

    Allowed my to activate it over the phone, and it would APPEAR that the message is no longer happening - although it did that until she went to uni last time.

    Hopefully it will be fine now, thanks
