Really want to just get BF3, but I hate playing MP games by myself and I don't like talking to strange people on xbox live, so I'm getting peer pressured into getting COD

Sadly what could be considered a bonus, is also a burden for PC gamers. Due to the game being on PC it is so easy to go from a game to work - having said that, I guess in many respects that is good, as you can fit in a sneaky game between work.. haha

Sorted accepted that as a PC gamer, due to the lack of friends who play on PC, personally I am fine with it though - happy to game either way haha

Same. I only know one person who plays PC games, but he mostly plays console.

Your best bet is to join a clan or something. It's mostly boring playing alone.

Yeah I have one friend (no "funny edits please..") who plays PC games, however bought an xBox last year and now plays that as well - he is getting BF3 on PC and COD on xbox unless they announced dedicated ranked servers on PC. I looked at joining a clan but didn't get in to it (10 hours online time, compared to 150 odd on MW2..) due to my keyboard. However, will look to get in to a clan for BF3/MW3 - recommendations where to find a clan..?

We are going to be 90% BF3 orientated when it comes out. Some members will play BC2 still also.

Alright, cheers - never really sure where to find decent clans haha

Personally, I will be active once BF3 comes out - although until then obviously I won't be at all active. Shame about the COD thing, having said that, no one needs to know.. :L Just would like to find a clan after spending so long trying to find one for Black Ops when it first came out.

Even brought a new mouse and keyboard in preparation for BF3/COD (although I haven't pre ordered COD yet, and won't do unless the have Dedicated Ranked servers..)

How does a keyboard affect performance? Seriously I don't understand how 1 keyboard is different to another apart from wired/wireless and key ghosting (I think that's what it is called anyway).

Ghosting and wired. Answered that yourself.

Basically, my previous keyboard was wireless and was crap for gaming due to the wireless receiver not being great - i would press a button and it would ignore that I pressed it.

Technically there is other stuff but not so important..
