I suppose we would have to come up with a way to tackle that, well it depends on the actual system behind it and if it's possible to prevent people from abusing it.
It's not about how helpful it is, I was more commenting about how silly it would look imo. I think quotes are a lot neater cos it's a forum so they're often there whereas posts filled with @s just looks weird to me. It's something I could ignore easily so it's nothing major and if the majority want it then go ahead but just giving a different take on it.
I'm not sure if when you say @Inseriousity. that it would still say @Inseriousity and not just [@]Inseriousity[/@] but I agree if it still shows the @ it will come quite un tidy. It's not about how helpful it is, I was more commenting about how silly it would look imo. If it's the latter then it'd be better but i'm just going by clubhabbo which has @[name] dotted everywhere round the forum (like http://www.clubhabboforum.net/showth...=370610&page=2 here).

Yeah no **** mate. I'm just saying that the @mention is very good. CH uses it and it doesn't get abused (much?).I just want to say this before I go on about tagging users:
Habbox is Habbox, we aren't ClubHabbo/ForumLol and they may have these features or better systems in place in your opinion but that doesn't mean we will always use them and put them into HabboxForum. Just saying this because your recent posts in feedback are like: forumlol this, forumlol that. Not that I have a problem with people giving suggestions on what we can add to the forum.
Its good because if someone posts for help you can get someone's attention by posting something like "do this this this.. but @whoever will know more".
And also, using another forum "based on habbo" opens your eyes a bit to some improvements. Okay?
I don't need to open my eyes a bit because I actually said the following:Yeah no **** mate. I'm just saying that the @mention is very good. CH uses it and it doesn't get abused (much?).

Meaning I don't mind if people want to suggest improvements!
Also, I wasn't the one who brought about people abusing it either, I just replied saying about we could bring something in to tackle that if it became a huge problem.
