I'd try and push the budget, that's only around £600 (£650 on UK pricing), you can easily fit in a 2500k, a GTX 560TI and a slightly larger screen.

Good choice of graphics card. You could save £50 when it comes to the screen though, I bought this one last week and I do recommend it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-E2251VR-i...4&sr=1-1-fkmr1

Terrible choice on graphics card actually, you want the TI version as it's much better.

hard drive, optical drive, keyboard, mouse (Although a comfortable mouse IS imperative). Case to a VERY small extent. Also choosing a motherboard with just the bits you need (Sata ports, PCIE slots, RAM slots etc.)

From what you have listed, I'm not sure how i could downgrade to.

Do you recommend i buy all the parts from the save place (saves money on postage?) or but all the parts from the 'recommended/chosen' place?
