I want to get this but the subscription fees are a turn off. When I tried to get into WoW I was too busy thinking if it was worth the money, which led to me dropping my subscription.

This game is worth the fees.
After being a WoW player myself for 5 nearly 6 years, making the change has been awesome its a fresh approach to MMO's and has alot of shiny new things to keep you entertained. I doubted trying it at first but I'm glad I did now.

Yeah star wars is a pretty good game and here is also a server problem i have tried it on the 4am but there was no response but now i have purchase it my own.

However could you explain why is it a fresh approach? I've heard some people saying it's basically wow in space?

The game actually has a proper storyline for whatever class you choose, which for an MMO I think is incredible. I've actually been playing it as a Single Player game and treating it as a Knights of the Old Republic 3 substitute. Although, I have heard that there's not much to do after you have reached level 50 and completed the storyline.

I LOVE this game. Not sure if I like WoW or SWTOR more though...I will have to wait until end game since that is where I and everyone else will spend most of their play time.

Level 26 SithAssassin. I would be higher but i've been busy with other games :p

I was going to try it but I like WoW too much to drift onto another game. I don't really like the whole Sci Fi scene anyway

I think I'll buy it today. Are there any trade skills in this game like in wow? Or what is the main money making methods?
