I chose unis based how close they are to home and where they are on the league table for my course and I also looked at the area and if I would be happy living there or not.

Key factors you should base it on is:
can you meet the entry requirements
    course content and structure
    teaching/assessment
do you like the area, on/off campus
do they offer sandwich courses (placements during the course)

i didn't want to be too far from home, and not many universities do the course that i'm doing. also ones that required grades close to my predicted grades.

in the end i chose the uni i'm at because they have the most dedicated teaching and offer really good placement schemes for like 80% of all courses. france in third year yay can't wait

I chose one in Canada because I knew I wanted to go back there and go to school. I originally went to one in the city (close to my dad) but I hated it and my brothers go to a different university 2 hours away so I would go to their house every weekend. This year I just decided to transfer so we all go to the same schools now!!!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

Looked on the university league and then chose from there what I felt I could get in, oh and I choose the closest one to home as a backup.

I basically had a lot of flip-flopping on it. Although, I did look at the rankings and the quality of courses of the Unis as that was a crucial factor for me. Then I broke down the ones with the entry requirements that I needed, followed by the areas of the Uni and how much of a student town it was etc.

Anyway, after a lot of headache, switching courses etc. I'm now at Durham Uni .
